LOST PROJECT "LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, IN STRENGTHS AND INVESTIGATION TECHNIQUES TO FIGHT THE GROWING PHENOMENON OF MISSING PEOPLE IN EUROPE"

LOST project is a two-yearprogramme aimed at preparing professionals who can work in collaboration with entities dealing with the research of missing people.

Professionals who work in the field of missing children and adults can benefit from this programme, which aims at supplying training and specific support from experts and trainers.

These experts could be army and police officers or civil protection specialists, representatives from volunteerassociations and social services, psychologists and all those specialists who work to support families.

The project is managed by Societàdella Salute dellaZonaPisana(leading institution), OMNIS Association, C.M. SKOULIDI & SIA E.E. (Patras, Greece), INSTITUTES PRINCIPE REAL – ASSOCIACAO PARA IN INOVACAO AND DESENVACTION (Miranda Do Douro, Portugal), EUROPEAN FORUM OF TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING (Brussels, Belgium), SOSU OSTJYLLAND (Aarhus, Denmark), Asociacionsosdesaparecidos (Caravaca de la Cruz, Spain), SIULP (Perugia, Italy).

The OMNIS Association, together with other foreign partners, has a fundamental rolerelated to the analysis of good practices in Europe, the shared approach on the issues subject of the training course and the final proposal for the implementation of a toolkit addressed to social services and police.
